Rocky's Boots was a great "game"--and resembled connecting logic
gates more than anything else.

Of course, these days, the difference between hardware design and
software design is hard to tell by watching the designers--they both
are typing "code" on a screen!  ;-)

Only real difference is that the hardware designer tests his/her code
under simulation right up until the very end, while the software designer
is often running on the real hardware.
