It was primarily to allow use of old programs and to show how a compiler
works...
One would need GSoft Basic (also from Byteworks via Syndicomm) To get
Toolbox access, etc. from a Basic language on the GS.
OK, there were were some ampersand routines for access from Applesoft, but
I never tried them.
