Re: Wanted Volume III IIGS Toolbox

ouch I could see that coming. never say "not" unless you're sure, I learned
that the hard way myself a few times.
not only was there a Volume III but almost a volume IV. Mike Westerfield
tried to get Apple to produce one and had enough material to do it, but
Apple didn't want it, partly because Addison Wesley lost interest. Volume IV
was later created by Mike as Programmer's Reference 6.0 and 6.0.1, some 496
pages according to the site, although I count about 50 pages more than that
from the .pdf on the Orca ][ CDs. This is also available through Syndicomm.

I paid ~$80AU+ postage for my 2nd hand original Vol III on e-bay because I
prefer the original article, however the same formatted info can be had in
the reproduced version from Syndicomm. Incidently the original has 3-hole
punched pages for the full book except for the cover which confused me at
first. So the Syndicomm version is virtually the same as the original except
for the colour glossy cover.

for $0.95 though, you can probably only read the first couple of pages !
