Slot card maximum physical size?

I remember once reading an official "Slot Card Size" document from
Apple somewhere on the internet that described the maximum physical
size an 8-bit Apple expansion slot card could have to still fit into
the case without problems, however I can't find it any more. Does
anybody know where I could access this? The reason is that I have to
cut down a PC ISA prototype board to fit and I don't want to remove
more than necessary. Of course I could just keep filing until it fits
but it would be easier to have the official measurements since my
Apples are not in that building where I'd do the sawing and filing,
and I'm too lazy to measure the inside of the case.
