Hmmnnn... Several people have said they can get a ROM 01 to do a diskless
boot from an AppleShare server.
All I can say is I put a lot of effort into it, and it didn't work for me,
or for other people who were trying at the same time. I tried several
servers, several versions of AppleShare, several ROM 01 IIgs's. It never
worked for me. The ROM 03's worked like a charm, no problem, but not a ROM
01.
So something is different. The only other thing I can think of is the
version of GS/OS on the server. I have only got 6.0.1, perhaps an earlier
version works.
