Thanks, and Two more questions
Hi, and thanks for the "heads up".
I guess that I'm pretty lucky to get you to reply to my message. I
haven't used this board for some time, but I remember you as being one
of the most knowledgable voices around.
At any rate, I own (box, manual, original disks, etc) a copy of
Appleworks 4.3 but haven't taken the time to read the manual. I just
today skimmed the database area, and am amazed. Even AppleWorks (nee
ClarisWorks) for the Mac and Windows and MSWorks (the only integrated
programs left) doesn't have a database like this. Thanks again for
your reply.
Now, I have two more questions:
1) Do you, or anyone else sell Appleworks 5.1? If so, how much is
it, and is it worth upgrading from 4.3?
2) Is this the correct board to ask about printing Appleworks files
through the Apple II card, on a Mac, to a Apple Stylewriter. The only
way I've been able to do it is to have Appleworks (Mac) read the
ProDOS Appleworks file and print it from there (how cumbersome, and
uncool!!). I realize that this probably goes on some Mac Board but
they don't know computers like this board does. Please point me in
the right direction.
Thanks in advance,
Mike
