Personally I was never involved in any such stuff with Turley. Also,
even if someone behaved like a real asshole, I would after a while
merely ignore that person, but not give up any interests I might
share with that person, simply because I would think he's not worth
THAT much....

I guess there's little hope for peace on Earth, if people like you can't
even get over similar feelings when they're only about some obsolete
8-bit computer which people cling to for nostalgic reasons.....

Fortunately, there are some counter-examples too. Consider e.g.
France and Germany, who've fought many wars over many centuries
but who now are the most important members of the EU, and a future
war between those countries appears extremely unlikely. Yes, a
number of people in those countries probably had to swallow a lot
of hard feelings for past injustices and outright crimes (as we all
know, neither Napoleon nor Hitler were particularly good guys...).
Nevertheless this is one example that past conflicts CAN be settled!!!!

So when you decide to continue having very bad feelings about Turley,
don't use Yogoslavia, Rwanda, or Israel/Palestina as an example.
Instead use France and Germany as an example !!! You should try to
settle for the good, not for the evil -- shouldn't you?
