Actually it's not really *that* bad. You could have a Linux computer
call up a "modern" ISP and have a null modem connection from your
Apple to the Linux computer.

Of course that does take a bit of technical expertise... not exactly
easy for the novice user. Maybe you have a Linux "geek" buddy that
could set you up?

I know what you mean about SpamCop. Personally I *do* use them on my
SMTP gateway to stop spam but I must admit that occasionally they do
stop some e-mails that I need. Most annoying.
