I've recently found two Taxan RGB VIsion monitors (Models Kaga Vision
I and Kaga Vision III) and wish to use either one on my //e and
possibly IIgs.
The only cable I have for these monitors is a DIN-8 to 15-pin
connector which appears to fit in Position "III" at the back of either
monitor. This connector is designed for the Apple III and appears to
be a digital RGB signal. Is this 15-pin connector compatible (signal
wise) with the IIgs RGB port ?
Furthermore, after digging through my box of Apple // cards, I found a
Taxan RGB video card designed for the //e Aux slot (made by Video-7).
This card has a flat ribbon cable with a 15-pin male connector on it.
I assume this is a digital RGB card but how can I connect this card to
either Taxan monitor if the Taxan cable also has a 15-pin male
connector on one end as well ? Use an adapter ?
What type of cable is needed for position "II" with the Taxan monitor
(This position is labeled Apple ][ and features a square plug with 8
pin sockets). Lastly, is there any composite connector on the Taxan
RGB Monitor - I can't seem to find one.
Any help appreciated.
