I don't have any specific corrections, but was a bit surprised that you
didn't
mention AppleTalk networking.  If you are considering a 2nd edition of the

book, perhaps some treatment of that would be helpful.


While I didn't devote too many pages to it, I did cover the basics of
connecting an AppleTalk network and using AppleShare in Chapter 10.

I'm sorry, that's what I get for posting without re-reading... More precisely I meant to say "use of AppleTalk with a Linux netatalk server". Many of us have found this a useful combination. Ivan Drucker's good work in packaging a turnkey server appliance for VMware makes this much simpler than it was when I first started hacking around with it.

Macs capable of running the native AppleTalk server are getting increasingly difficult to find while setting up a virtual appliance is trivial.
