I recently aquired a batch of A2 cards and boards, a few of which I am
unsure about. Any info on these would be greatly appreciated:
1) A small board, made by Apple, dated 1979, labeled "Encoder Discrete
Keyboard." It has a slide switch in the corner, a male 25-prong
single-row connector, a processor-like? chip (8005UX), and 4 other
smaller chips.
2) No mystery, this one is a ROM card, made by Apple dated 1978. It has
a red toggle switch at one end. 5 of its 6 sockets have ROM chips. How
do I go about finding out what's on this card? My oldest A2 is a IIe.
3) This one is a disk drive controller card made by V-Tech, no date. It
has two connectors labled "drive 1" and "drive 2." Connected to "drive
1" is a ribbon cable ending with a standard 19-pin drive port. What's
throwing me is that it has the second connector. Is this so you can use
Disk II drives with it as well?
Thanks in advance.
