OSX could be made to run on the Intel  PCs ands there are a lot of
people that'd love to run it on their PC. Problem is Apple is first and
foremost a hardware company. They do an OS and a few bits of
software to support that hardware but they're in the business of selling
computers.  If they port OSX over to Intel machines then they'll likely
lose the hardware business. Doesn't matter how good their hardware is,
price and advertising count for too much.
