LocalTalk Bridge 2.1 (and other products such as Sonic LocalBridge)
connect the *current* AppleTalk network interface (typically ethernet)
to the Printer port. LT Bridge is an old product and uses the old
convention that LocalTalk networks attach to a Mac via the Printer
port. Open Transport allows a Mac to use the Modem serial port for
LocalTalk but LT Bridge doesn't know about this.

Like Tim, I still can't persuade the IIgs to see the W2K Services for
Mac (SFM) server in the AppleShare control panel. I don't have any
problems seeing my SE/30 or PowerMac on the bridged network.

I've tried various things including some quite drastic registry hacks
to force the AppleTalk network and node numbers for SFM. There are a
few things left to test (like swapping the software bridge for a
genuine AppleTalk router) but I'm not over optimistic.
