I was guaranteeing a HDD would work, not AppleTalk. I'm not sure about the
Vulcan (mine's broken so I can't try it), but the AHS and Focus both work.
If your Vulcan booted up then you are on the right track.
AppleTalk requires more to set up then just enabling it in the control
panel. That's a separate issue. There is a few steps on the GS and a more on
the Mac.
If I get a chance I'll add some steps after I write it all down. Meanwhile
someone else may reply and solve that problem. Most of the steps involve the
Mac setup, and differs for different OS versions, so you may have to specify
which OS you Mac is running to get an accurate reply. I'm using 7.6.1 so I
can help there.
