I assume your 2egs is in a early IIe case and not the platinum one.
do you think it would work in a platinum IIe case ?
that way you get a better power supply and the extended keyboard.

I've got a spare IIe platinum box that I thought I could convert to a "2egs
platinum".
has a nice ring to it, dont you think !

I don't want to destroy my early IIe as it's the only one I have with the
PAL video (for Oz) the platinum IIe's have NTSC video which is not so useful
here.

I'm confused about the IIe top you have as the upgrade had an inset metal
badge, like the original IIe's. the platinum IIe's only have a screen
printed top. ???
