There are other consequences, such as Disk Manager limitations. I think
the worst though is the effect on the author when he reads how his hard
work is not worth the trouble of registering. Hopefully he won't give up
on the system. I know he had plans to add other hardware options.
There may be other reasons for the check problem. The author lives in
another country. Of course the check fee might be required by the order
processing company. Many places don't like to deal with checks.
