I will certainly try to move the card to slot#2 and check if this helps, and
report back to the group

For the record the RAM-board used is marked 'Applied Engineering." with 6.5
MB added instead of the Apple-original board containing only 512 kb.

--> Currently occupying slot#2 is a Super Serial Card II intended for use
with ADT.  What would be the appropriate option for the card, slot#7 ?
