Spot on here, Greg - I found out from an old text that this could indeed
be the problem. And it was.
Shame that there's no way of really KNOWING this unless you *really* dig
around. (It doesn't give
out any error messages at all, and isn't in any official docs either.
The ProDOS disks from the 7500
are readable here, btw, just not bootable.)

Thanks, but it's solved now. I had an SE/30 handy, and once I knew that
this could be it, it took
little time to get some bootable ProDOS disks after all.

Thanks a lot for making life so easy, Apple (sigh...)
