Actually, there does end up being some mention of it in Apple's
Technical Info Library, which would be considered the official
source of information these days.  But you have to know to look
there.

Note:  This info is for the Quadra 660AV & 840AV and should
apply to all later PowerMacs I do believe.

I think there was more info there on it before, but probably
didn't survive the 'Jobs' Apple II cleanout of the TIL.
