As far as I know, and I'm not an expert on Mac hardware, that monitor
can only sync down to a horizontal rate of 31 KHz which isn't low
enough for the IIgs' horizontal refresh of 15.75 KHz.  This results in
getting multiple images on the monitor if you can even manage to get
it to stabilize.
