No, it won't read any floppies.  Haven't gotten around to figuring out where 
my drive cleaning kit is to see if that helps matters or not yet.  

Then again, it might not even work on the //GS at all.  I had the drive laying 
around for years since I used it as a floppy drive for my old Macintosh when 
it's floppy drive died.  I just couldn't remember if it was 800K only or not.
