Still, it would be nice to be able to have a browser or FTP client 
automatically launch Commbin or other decoder as a helper application 
when a text file is downloaded, or a pdos APPL which would not only 
extract files, but also set the appropriate filetypes for ProDOS files 
residing on HFS or HFS+ volumes.

I think the first step is to decide for ourselves what MIME types should 
be used for what extensions before we go about registering them.
