I'd take one for $.50 but AVs only have software support for 14400 with 'em.
PMacs can do 33600. I have cable going to my 840av these days so the modem
and port don't see much action any more though.

Nope for two reasons: Classics don't have a Geoport compatible serial port,
plus even modem ports that support it work with normal modems pretty as you
please. It wouldn't go over so hot otherwise.

No since a Classic can't use a Geoport, plus a Geoport friendly modem port
works with normal modems as I mentioned.

The only boxes which can utilize a Geoport already have a compatible port
built in. Like I say, look at the modem port on an AV or any PMac and you'll
see that it's keyed and has nine pins. No others do. The AVs use the DSP to
work the Geoport while PMacs have a fast enough CPU to do it. No other Macs
can use it.
