Anyone refurbish TransWarp GS's?
Well is there anyone out there who can refurbish
TransWarps? Mine has had it, though I'm not sure
exactly which action I took that damaged it. I've got
two possibilites.
First, I had made another cable. Only problem is that
the connector I got wasn't the right one therefore
the pins were all reversed! Thanks very much to
Active Components. Well I should have gotten a
continuity tester to check pinouts.
Second thing I did to it was de-solder the LED, and
soldered on a connector for a Molex type connector.
In anycase, my GS almost never completes booting and
crashes consistently. A lesson to you all, don't go
by advice of your local electronic component store.
Research all possibilities before commiting any
action.
Man am I bummed out.
