The post of Tom's was quotes from emails from delphi's A2 site.  With sarcastic
comments interspaced by to.  In the post I saw here, it was hard to tell where
one ended and another began.  I think Eric objected to quotes of hie emails.  

Which brings me to what offends me a bit.  It is Tom's quoting a private email
to himself.  I think that is very rude.

Tom likes to see himself as a victim.  He has lessened that over the years I am
glad to see.  But nevertheless he is trying to set himself up as an innocent
victim.  Well, obviously depending on your viewpoint but he is not innocent. 
It is bad form to quote private or in the case of delphi, semi-private emails.

If he simply wanted to write a summary of what happened, gleaned from reading
delphi and I think also a listserv, without quoting, I don't think others would
object.

I had a post quoted.  Do I care?  Well, mostly I'm flattered.  But it is a bit
of a surprise to see a semi-private post quoted on csa2.
