I've picked-up several things I wasn't aware of and it is
appreciated. It's sort of like a crash course on the A2.
However, I can't help wondering: Is all of this info covered
in the FAQs? Not that I'm proposing a surly: "Go read the FAQ"
approach - far from it; it's really nice to see the exchange
of info in a friendly, helpful manner. But; if all of this
_is_ covered; it might be a good supplemental source for him
(as well as others, of course) to tie it all together. OTOH;
if all of this is _not_ covered in the FAQ; mayhaps it could
be added? This thread has been a great 'intro' on getting an
A2 system up & running (albeit mostly aimed at the IIgs).
I've enjoyed reading this thread - seeing him discover some
of the capabilities (& quirks) of an A2 system has almost
been like re-discovering stuff I learned so long ago that
it's refreshingly enjoyable to 'learn' it all over again...
I do think a section on getting an A2 system up and
running might partially duplicate Q&A's from other sections
of the FAQs; but grouping it together in this fashion may be
useful to those newly introduced to this fascinating and
venerable technological treasure (so dear to many of us! :->)
