Concerning Animasia IIgs 3D

Wanting to get some info on the current status of Animasia IIgs 3D, as I read a
few months ago on this newsgroup per a post from Max Jones that it was now a
shareware, I called the author, Michael Lutynski this morning, at his home in
Southern California to ask him it's status.  He confirmed politely by voice
that it was indeed a shareware with a shareware fee of $10.  

Willie Yeo, if you read this post and if you haven't already made a
reclassification inclusion notice on this programs status from commercial to
shareware on your website, perhaps you should.
As the program formally sold commercially for $99, this is a very fair
shareware fee.  

I was lucky to have found it for sale with a ROM 03 IIgs - I bought at a flea
market sale back in Novemeber, 1998.  The IIgs was $10 and the original program
disks of Animasia IIgs 3D was only $5. So, I think I got a great deal on both.

I wanted to send Michael a shareware fee of $10 also, to show him my
appreciation for his efforts with the program. But, he made it clear to me in
our conversation that he required no shareware fee from me and wanted nothing,
as I had bought the original program on disks used, with the ROM 03 IIgs at the
flea market sale last year.  

I then asked Michael if it would be possible to archive the Animasia IIgs 3D
program and make that archive available as a shareware from our Apple II ftp
sites, to stimulate IIgs users to send him the shareware fee of $10.  His
answer was a VERY CLEAR -> Sorry, NO!  He told me people could order it as a
shareware from Max Jones or Joe Kohn.

So, if it's Animasia IIgs 3D you're looking for, the author, Michael Lutynski
told me it is NOW available from Max Jones or Joe Kohn only.  You should
contact either if you want Animasia IIgs 3D. It's really a GREAT program. If
you don't have it - you should order it.
