Oh! Ok, now I understand, I had forgotten about the auxtype, and couldn't
understand where it was getting those last two chars. and yes, I cut the
rest of this off, it was getting too long, sorry.

As an aside, has anyone ever sat down and made a patch equivalent of the
prodos patches for P8 and GSOS, for the MacOS (In 'ProDOS File System' or
'PC Exchange', depending on your system setup) I'm guessing that the
information would be...similar, and there are many times when I manipulate
disks on my Mac to do stuff with the IIe card or an emulator on the PB
where there's P8 limitations that bug me (the agony with GEOS comes to
mind)...
