Well, in this case, the fruity logo does have one advantage: it
seems to work better with the new SCSI-II drives that require
an SCSI ID from the controller.  People have reported problems
using >1GB drives with the Ramfast, but I've never had such
problems when dealing with even larger mechanisms.

BTW, for the sake of verification, you might want to try
pumping that AE memory card of yours to the max 6MB and leave
DMA on and see what happens.  Although Ramfast rev. C and
the Apple SCSI's (HS and rev. C) can't support DMA above
4MB or 5MB (ROM 1 and 3 respectively), the Ramfast rev. D
was designed to.  Not suprisingly all the 8MB DMA users I've
heard from have Ramfast rev. D's and they have no problems.

Anyone using a rev. D with 8MB and DMA have any problems?
