Joe,
I'm in agreement that Dr. Tom should/needs to serve some hard time for
his actions, however, Donanld's post raises some interesting
questions. You now "know" of many folks that you thought were your
supporters that have downloaded an Asimov file that infringed on YOUR
copyright and thus are subject to jail time for their actions.
I think the answer is simple. Provide the FBI and the Software group
responisble for protecting author's right's with this information.
When these "supporters" read this they are bound to have a sinking
feeling in their gut cause they don't know exactly when the feds will
show up to take them into custody, however, they know it will happen.
A MINIMAL answer should be the posting of the list to csa2 so that we
can shun such folks forever e.g., FOLKS! The previous post by FRED FU
is a post by a person that downloaded pirate software from ASIMOV.
As a long time Science Fiction person I really resent using his
name (ASIMOV), for illegal purposes.
Does anyone know the telephone number of the Naperville, IL person
that harbors ASIMOV? I'm willing to call them daily to tell them what
scumbags they are. (Not the BBS, their tel. I want to talk to the
person without a mother or father that runs this board.)
Kind Regards,
