If you wish to play with disks, you should get a
BlueDisk card from SHH Systemes and a good 1.44MB
PC floppy. This is a controller for the IIe that
will let you use such drives.

Then, just format a ProDOS 1.44MB disk and it can
be read on a Mac with PC Exchange. To move files,
just drag and drop. First copy your files from
5.25" to 3.5" format on the IIe, then move to Mac.
In fact, with a special PC program, you can read
ProDOS disks on a PC (1.44MB MFM format only).

A regular 800K controller and Apple drive will
also work (for Mac transfer only), but they are no
longer made.
