So you DID rewrite those parts in assembly? In your original pure-C form, I
was getting a frame every 6 seconds (14.33MHz ZIP). I'd LOVE to try the
assembly-ized version!
Have you considered adding a command to shrink the screen to increase speed?
(like + & - on most PC games)
Also, I'll ask the same thing I asked Nathan... what about not filling in
texture maps, and just drawing lines? Will that increase speed much?
