Re: "snit@nevada.edu" comment on Appletalk limited to slot 7. That's true
if you have a ROM01 Apple IIgs (as I do), but not true if you have a ROM03.
I know most people like to place their SCSI card in slot 7. However, slot 2
is a good alternative (as I have done). Even with slot 2 set to "Your Card"
if you use ProTerm for telecommunications, it will still work plugged into
the modem port. However, ProTerm 3.1 has some conflict froblems with
AppleTalk, and I find I have to reboot the system when I want to use
AppleTalk after using ProTerm. This is true when I want to print to my
AppleTalk Personal LaserWriter 320 - as ProTerm does something to AppleTalk
to prevent printing to an AppleTalk printer.
