Yes, I have. The old 20 meg drive died so a technically minded fried of
mine put in a used 80 meg Mac drive instead. It works wonderfully - and is
less noisy. The only problem is that because of the way Prodos 8 allocates
slots and drives, and because there are 3 partitions on the hard drive
now, the 3,5" external drive on my //c becomes invisible if I start up
from the Chinook. So now I have to start from a floppy. There sure must be
some software way of fixing this, but I have not investigated the problem
since it doesn�t bother me much. (Perhaps someone out there can tell me
how to fix it?)
