The reason I, as a Mac user, dislikes Win95 (which I have used) is that
I'm tired of all the hype. If you believe all the ads, then Win95 must be
the greates thing since toilet paper. I just saw at least 3 Win95
commercials during Monday Night Football (way to go Cowboys! :) They
included comments about how it used to be hard to add a peripheral to a
computer, but now Win95 makes it easier, and how it used to be hard to
multi-task, but Win95 makes it possible. I just want to holler "MACS HAVE
BEEN ABLE TO DO THIS FOR YEARS!"
I'll have to agree that Micro$loth is much better at marketing than Apple,
but I still believe that Apple has more ingenuitive ideas and better
programmers. If Apple plays its cards right, it can actually benefit from
Win95. Since so many users will have to buy new hardware to run it, then
maybe Apple can sway them to Macs. After all, since all of the reviews of
Win95 comment on how it is more Mac-like, then maybe Apple can convince
people to go ahead a buy the real thing since they need new hardware and
new versions of software to actually use Win95.
