Re: Best Apple II publication of all time

I think that deciding which is the best A2 publication is a matter of
personal taste. However, I believe there is an _objective_ way of deciding
which has been the best one, putting aside all personal preferences or
nostalgia.

That's to measure the publication life span. Nobody can deny the numbers, and
why does a publication last more than others if it isn't because of its
superior quality, more readers, more satisfied customers, etc.?

It happens that, even if most users in the net don't know much about it,
Softdisk (for the Apple IIe/IIc and not yet the one for the GS), which lasted
13 years and 10 months, is the longest lived publication of _all time_.

Followed closely only by Nibble, with a duration of 13 years and 7 months.
Not one has lasted more so far!!

Of course we can't apply the same judgement to the few publications that
still exist. I sincerely hope some of them break that record!
