Lynx help por favor :-)

Help! I may be only person on my server to still be using
a venerable antique like an Apple II ( & proud of it!)
which means I can't get any help there, so I must turn to you,
the pros!
 
I use Lynx to navigate www & I have the Lynx helpfile
but see no solution to this problem:
links are all shown as reverse video, as boldface & color change
can't be done. The problem, is that there is no way to know which
link I'm on ( since nothing can be "highlighted" as links are already
reverse video) so I'm forced to do a =  every tiome to check where I am.
 
A minor problem, but maybe there is a solution in configuration?
At least you won't  tell me to get a Mac!  ;-)
