  Actually, the GNO kernel is compiled in C 1.3, and it makes all sorts
of library calls :) (I have scripts that will swap between two sets
of libraries: C1.3 standard, and C2.0+GNO's ORCALIB). The LIBGNO
libraries all work fine (or _ought_ to) under C 1.3 as well.
