I have a supersoniq card, and was watching the output from that. Does
this mean that all sounds directed to even number channels go out one side,
and odd numbered channels go out the other?
If most programs simply pair the oscillators, does this mean that
most programs (music program?) set the oscillators to "Sync Mode"?
Another question is to do with having repeating sounds. Reading up
about the "Free Run Mode" - how do you have a simple repeating sample, if
the sample isn't the exact length of one of the possible wave sizes you
can give it. If you put a 0 at the end of the sample, then "Free Run Mode",
would stop.
I would basically like to set it up so I can get it to play a
sample continuously, BUT once i have started it I can let it go, and the
processor won't have to worry about it. Is there a way of doing this if the
sample isn't the correct length?
