Well... it sounds like it very likely is a copy protection problem.  I
doubt the Mac LC //e Emulation card is very tolerant of some of the exotic
copy protection schemes out there.

Polarware... sounds very familiar.  I don't think they exist anymore,
though.  I think most of their software was published a number of years
ago (back when disk copy protection was in vogue).  I might be wrong, but
I don't think I am...
