I like the IR remote idea and we were considering a PS/2 keyboard. Both
are rather easy to implement especially  with a soft z80. The problem is
that this is extra hardware that not every board will have right now but
is definitely something one can add on his own.

Right now I'm more looking for ideas on how to control the soft CPUwithout any extra hardware.
