Re: Getting FUD "into" a DOS Master Volume
Great suggestion Vince.
Unfortunately, I'm working with a collection of Macs and Apple IIs, so
I couldn't use CiderPress with your pre-rolled image, which could have
been handy.
The best part of the experience was revisting my Apple II "skills"
from the 1980s and improving them in the process. I've transferred
thirty floppies to the CF and am having fun with my revitalized
Apple //e Joystick going through the classics that my brothers and I
grew up with on my family's Apple ][+. Learning basic ProDOS was a
new skill I picked up, and getting my head around DOS Master took some
time. The whole experience made me realize Rich Dreher is brilliant
for implementing this amazing hardware, and the unbelievable lasting
power of the Apple II family and the software written for the
platform, which remains engaging more than twenty years after it was
released.
