Re: Missing rainbow ribbon on SSC card and need help where pins are, please!



Heheh I have all the hardware setup properly.  My current problem is I
don't know if any signals are being passed on the cable.  I tried the
hyperterm (winxp) as well as a dosbox but to no avail.  I tested with
my 2 comports but both fail to dump anything on the apple machine. I
believe the adt manual mentions 6B for setting the speed to 300-- I
suppose "6B" means I don't have to hit <enter>.  I tried 19200 and 300
for both of my serial ports and the 'apple serial card:' label remains
the only thing on the apple terminal. The only thing I haven't tested
is what I've initially tried to, which is test my serial ports.  I have
no disables in my bios.  I'm thinking the best way now is to use
something else other than windows. I'll try one more time...
