Nope, I'm trying to get component output so I can hook up to a HDTV. I
still have to double the scan rate though.
The thing about using an inverted socket, you want to sand away the top
edge of the plastic so it doesn't make contact with the motherboard
(keeping it from pushing the contacts further away from the PLCC). A
belt sander does the trick.
Were you ever able to get yours to work?
