Well then all you need the the output form your IIgs's RGB port. Most component hook-ups can operate at 15KHz.

The thing about using an inverted socket, you want to sand away the top
edge of the plastic so it doesn't make contact with the motherboard
(keeping it from pushing the contacts further away from the PLCC).  A
belt sander does the trick.

I was never able to get the belt sander to work, the sockets I've had are apparently too fragile. I end up just pulling th etop off and letting the pin friction hold them in place. (Knock wood)

Were you ever able to get yours to work?

Well no, or I'd be marketing the darned thing. :)
