on the above quote about finding stuff out from AE i heard
from an employee when it first went out of business AE
litterally dug a large whole in the ground and buried all
this docs/stuff etc..cards...so it could not be reverse
engineered and they could sell remaining stock at their
leisure

i also heard someplace in australia also called AE has
rights to some of this stuff..by some wierd project
swaping or whatever with usa AE back in the day
and they have some engineering stuff

also the /shh place in germany that still makes the 32k
cache boards for the transwarp gs has some engineeing
specs

not sure if any of this was true..but that was i was told
at the time they went under and tripped over rumor wise
since then

would be nice if someone had this stuff someplace..former
tech or whatever..but..never actually heard of anything like
that

my 2c worth ..not that its prob worth that much..rumor wise
