HTML simply doesn't have the functionality for diverse creation of
"programs". That is as simple as that. It does not have simple base
features necassary for data handling and variables. This is some of the
basic things that is definitive in programming and you really don't have
that at all in HTML. As for Javascript, PHP and other fairly advance
script languages - I am rather impressed as they push the envelop on
scripting to the point where the line is extremely close and in cases
surpassing several early programming languages.
If you like to look at some PHP stuff, I'll show you but you'll have to
wait until tomorrow. There really is no easy way to write a definition of
what a programming language is. It is alot and often will get so indepth
and complex that you as a reader would be tired of reading the definition
after the first two paragraphs. So they provided as rather generic and
often misleading definition. Programmer know what is meant by experience
not what is exactly said. Programmer have connected the gesalt
definition.
In short words the definition that was provided really lack resolution
and coverage and better fits the definition of computer languages and not
really perfect for "computer programming languages". Just one word can
define things a bit.
The guy simply seems to me a bit ridiculous and is tiresome and when
trying to explain it to him in 25 different ways of saying something it
will get irritational. So you can see my patience with him is rather
pushed thin.
Why do you think I say it will take 2 years because I would have to
explain each terminology and this will lead on through a maze of
terminologies and teaching him programming. This simply is based on his
lack of knowing the difference between a markup language and a computer
programming language and the lacking of knowing the difference between a
program and a web page. This is exactly based on his messages.
I simply hope he does has more intellect than this. He is acting like
Matthew Montchalin with his thick-headedness.
