Booting up a IIgs

I have a IIgs (Woz edition), with a SirusRAM 2 meg card, and a Vulcan
20 meg hard drive system. I made a boot up disk, so i could boot up the
system with GS/OS 6. However, when I tried moving the system folder to
my Vulcan Hard Drive, then booted up the system, it would stop when the
"thermometer" reached it peak. It just stops loading. Am I missing a
system tool or enabler?
