Thank you for your extensive reply, and guidelines on how to set up the SAM
& working TCP/IP stack.

Also many thanks for the information on the "!help" function.  This
certainly would have clarified some of the issues at an earlier stage.

Language /keyboard settings  (<open apple>, CTRL, ESC)

Toggling with the language settings in the 'Desk Accessories --> Control
Panel ---> Options' submeny, does  somehow not affect the text output in
when working in GS/OS System 6.0.1.

---> However, when working in 8-bit mode PRODOS or DOS33  the
language-specific characters become available according to the selected
language scheme.

The keyboard used is an 'Apple Extended Keyboard II'  with the Danish
key-configuration, but acts as the German or English equivalent in
Prodos/DOS33  when selecting these languages, even though the key-response
will be different.

> Alternatively, you can generate the characters using Option-Key strokes.
Then to send those, you need to
> check 'Allow sending of High ASCII'.

Where would I find further information on the correct 'Option -Key'
combinations?
