Re: IIGS Modem troubleshooting --> International charset /German, Danish etc.
Dear John
Thank you for your extensive reply, and guidelines on how to set up the SAM
& working TCP/IP stack.
Also many thanks for the information on the "!help" function. This
certainly would have clarified some of the issues at an earlier stage.
Language /keyboard settings (<open apple>, CTRL, ESC)
Toggling with the language settings in the 'Desk Accessories --> Control
Panel ---> Options' submeny, does somehow not affect the text output in
when working in GS/OS System 6.0.1.
---> However, when working in 8-bit mode PRODOS or DOS33 the
language-specific characters become available according to the selected
language scheme.
The keyboard used is an 'Apple Extended Keyboard II' with the Danish
key-configuration, but acts as the German or English equivalent in
Prodos/DOS33 when selecting these languages, even though the key-response
will be different.

Where would I find further information on the correct 'Option -Key'
combinations?
best regards
