The monitor's case is made of ABS plastic, which is exceptionally
strong. However, the case, especially the air vent area, is rather
thin. I guess it has to be this way because the monitor depends
on these vents for cooling.
The best thing to do is ask potential sellers if they have the original
monitor packing. A couple of molded foam inserts in a strong
cardboard case, both designed for this monitor, is the only way to
ship them.
Make sure the seller identifies the item as fragile. If not, it is like
a green light for shippers to throw the thing around.
